Once that is done, I got in to the game fine :) Thanks Enigma, that fixed it! :) lexpenroseNovember 18th, 2008, 11:07 AMFor people that don't get this to work , All the script and GUI do is get the login queue for the specified server, add your request to get a ticket number and fire off the client with that as The patching took about 1 hour on my laptop. Then copy it over SMB to an ext2 partition (any other FS should work here. Of course if you play on multiple servers there is no guarantee that both need that fix but I'm sure the next time SNy reads this thread he'll mod his script JavaScript Required!

Nope. Revision is now 0.9.9d, at the link in my signature. Source & debs should be up soon(ish). I ran into no problems installing the MoM pre-upgrade through wine.

I suspect there's a setting in a boot file that has been borked by the crash, but I'll investigate a bit after I satisfy my lotro addiction for a bit. Lotro Forums I like it. SNy -- edit -- I found this from the cvs mailing list (http://www.winehq.org/pipermail/wine-cvs/2008-October/048679.html) and this from the bugzilla (http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=11122). Joshua I did like your comment in the PyLotRO section about having to find a suitably old version of PyQT4 for Windows to build your version. The launcher comes on, gets my password but doesn't open up. You can install .NET 1.1 in wine and crossover now but that still needs a lot of work doing to it but it is being looked at by Codeweavers. Im out of ideas also ... On the other hand - setting the post processing on does not actually seem to do anything. My husband thinks I'm nuts for using Linux, especially when I'm so new at it.

I'm assuming there is a bug in intrepids mono causing the problem as the same code works fine everywhere else. It is set to zero. FAT32 cannot handle the number of files in the bindat folder in MoM. i.e.

I hate to ask, but does this mean that you won't be playing LotRO anymore? Also, no post-processing effects due to the ATI card (will probably replace this someday). Probably when my sound died earlier this month after plugging in a usb headset.

I do wonder about the reason for omitting the world queue, though.

I have edited the ini file. Because when I click on my launcher, same thing happens. You've done plenty already by making the code available. tjumperNovember 15th, 2008, 10:28 AMActually there is an update you can download from Turbine site.
