Maxell works for me at the slower burn speed, but still problematic.  The PC at Long's couldn't read it at all. Dec 4, 2010 I friend made home DVD for us but must have burnt it wrong as it just opens up the TS folders.I thought that I could copy the files Why would it stop accepting a certain type of media all of the sudden. Others said that the media was not good but I've burned with the exact same media in the recent past, and it worked just fine then.

I do not find a specific Apple.plist in Library that might point to this dvd burning issue. And, it seems that by clearning out the MacBook Pro's hard-drive, I now can burn without any problems.

But I can't get the dvd to burn. "error code 0x80020022". Try again using a new blank disc (error code 0x80020063). I just tried burning a disk again, and I got the old error. The first attempt failed...

Because the drive would read and write CD's I was hoping that it was just a software issue. Possibly because it needs lots of space to burn. Then I open up the two files and they become the Audio_TS and Video_TS folders. I was thinking about trying to do the transfer in windows.

I assume that if it was a matter of media then the dvd's I have would never have worked.
