As resetting to factory defaults was the last option Apple provided, I downgraded to 8.4.1 successfully and was able to reconnect to my Exchange server. I have no other errors on the server, I have restarted all exchange services, dns (also no errors), and checked the "get-transportagent" where eset av transport is enabled and has 1st navigate here

The check box for "Email" is still checked, but if I click it again, now I have the option to "Deactivate" instead of "Activate."
